community of practice meetings
Social Stencil Facilitators (facilitators with a registered annual licence) are invited to attend 4 Community of Practice Extension Seminars annually.
We will present one workshop per term.
The first workshop is happening on the 3rd April from 7-8pm (EST).
Our first workshop will be presented by program author Dr Connie Buckingham, discussing group goals, on-boarding steps, set-up recommendations, common social skills group challenges/strategies and group activities.
Connie has over 16 years facilitating small social skills groups, initially within schools, then later within private practice.
Neuroaffirming social skills groups are different from historical, neuronormative social skills groups where social goals were based on neurotypical social skills.
Neuroaffirming social skills groups still aim to support group members to develop their skills, but the intention, goals and process is different.
Join Dr Connie Buckingham on the 3 April as we unpack steps and strategies to support you to deliver your neuroaffirming social skills group programs.
