Measuring impact
There are many ways to measure the impact of Social Stencil in your classroom.
Option One is Action Research.
This would involve documenting your observations over time.
Option Two is Pre-Post Questionnaires completed by Class Teachers.
We are currently trialling a new Pre-Post Questionnaire as part of a Research Project with the University of Melbourne.
Stay tuned. We’ll provide all licensed facilitators with access to the Questionnaire later in the year, once we have had a chance to examine the questionnaire formally.
Option Three is a Student Completed Questionnaire to measure social and emotional well-being for primary school children.
This measure is provided by Rumble’s Quest. This measure is a robust tool to assess your students social and emotional well-being long term. You might use this measure once at the beginning of a new school year, and again at the end of the school year to help understand how your schools social emotional programs are supporting your students over time.
It is recommended that Rumble’s Quest is used as a whole cohort or whole school measure to help assess the impact of Social Stencil and any other SEL programs in your school.
Your school might use Rumble’s Quest for their own analysis, or choose to share your data with us also.
