  • The Original Social Stencil program is an evidence based social emotional curriculum suitable for young people from Grade 3 to Year 8. The sessions can be delivered to a whole class (Connie’s favourite approach) or in small groups.

The program includes 18 weekly sessions designed to build students’ understanding of one another, including their learning, social, emotional, and play differences.

The goal is to foster positive peer relationships and create a culture of respect, support, and belonging for all.

  • Social Stencil Junior is a beautiful social emotional learning program designed to be delivered whole class to students in grade 1 and 2.

This program introduces students to concepts about our differences, our strengths, how to support one another, our emotions, and kindness through picture books and activities.

This program is currently in pilot mode and will be released publicly in January 2025.

If you would like to receive an email when this program is released, please click on the button below and complete the contact form.

  • Social Stencil Secondary is designed for year 7-9, sharing core Social Stencil concepts with students, via lesson plans to support their age and stage of development.

This program can be delivered as a whole class or small group program in secondary schools, or clinics.

This program is currently under construction with the pilot set to commence in Term 2, 2025.

  • The Neuroaffirming Emotion Cards (and included lesson plan) come from Session 5 of the Original Social Stencil Program. They are designed to help us explore emotions through words and abstract images. Each card encourages open conversations about emotion words, and what each word means.

By focusing on abstract imagery instead of facial expressions, the cards avoid imposing cultural or neurotypical ideas about how emotions should look. This makes them more inclusive and respectful, supporting deeper, richer conversations with young people about how they and others personally experience emotions.

Print out includes 37 beautiful colour images and words which you can then cut and laminate. Pack includes suggested activities and a Social Stencil Lesson plan.

  • Regulate / Co-regulate Cards (and included lesson plan) come from the Junior Social Stencil Program, and Social Stencil Small Groups Program (currently under development). These cards are a communication tool designed to ease the decision-making burden when students are dysregulated and need support to down-regulate.

The cards offer pictures of options that the student or support adult can select to communicate how they would like to be supported, or how they can support the student.

The cards are suitable for all ages.

The pack includes both colour and black-and-white cards. The black-and-white cards can be used by younger children to colour in and create their own personalised pack.

  • The Listening for Learning Poster (and included lesson) come from Session 3 of the Original Social Stencil Program.

This lesson is also offered as a stand-alone session because we believe any classroom can introduce this poster to visually demonstrate that all listening and learning styles are understood, acknowledged, and supported.

The pack includes two versions of the Listening for Learning A4 poster—one in colour and one in black and white (ideal for students to colour in themselves)—as well as a lesson plan suitable for Grades 3–6.
