Training for Teams

Neurodiversity affirming care is a lens through which we can better understand and support students and clients with individual needs. It represents a paradigm shift that invites all of us into reflective practice — considering what we have learnt, what we believe, what we notice, and how our thoughts and experiences consciously and unconsciously shape the way we teach, support, and engage with everyone in our community.

Social Stencil has been designed to provide inclusive social and emotional learning experiences that support belonging, appreciating difference, and understanding ourselves and others. Through engaging and creative pedagogy, the program explores emotions, friendships, peer relationships, and conflict in ways that are thoughtful, accessible, and neurodiversity affirming.

Delivering Social Stencil within teams is especially powerful, as it creates opportunities for shared language, shared understanding, and more consistent, supportive practices across classrooms, clinics, and wider communities over time.

To support this process, Social Stencil team training packages now include introductory training in the neurodiversity affirming movement, and the reflective foundations that underpin the program’s design and delivery via virtual consults with our Senior Trainers for your team.
