The Junior Social Stencil Program has been illustrated by stunning neurodivergent author Nell Harris. In fact, ‘Emotions are Waves’ features in the Junior Social Stencil program!
When it comes to teaching children about difference and celebrating our neurodiversity who better to lean on than psychologist Sandhya Menon. Recently a guest on the Wiggles Podcast, Sandhya has shared two of her resources with us for our Junior program; The Brain Forest and Power Pack. Thankyou Sandhya!
Why is it called a Pilot Program? Because it’s brand new and we want to share it, and learn from you. We’ll spend next year conversations with you (our facilitators) about the program, and work with the University of Melbourne and Department of Education Victoria to formally evaluate its impact for students.
Do I need to attend a workshop to get started? Nope! This program has been written with clear lesson plans so you can jump in and go! When you order the program, we’ll also send you a book box of the resources you need to deliver this program in your classroom.
