• Social Stencil is designed for:

    • Young people with a minimum grade 2 reading ability

    • Young people seeking to bolster their understanding of emotions, friendships, conflict, individual differences, and how to navigate conflict with others

    • All resources are trauma-informed and neuroaffirming

    • Social Stencil helps young people understand themselves, and others, appreciating that we are all different and through that understanding, we can better work learn and play together.

    • Follow the guides in the Social Stencil portal.

    • Deliver sessions sequentially, or pick and choose to be responsive to the clients individual needs.

    • Deliver a small group program to support peer to peer collaboration and insight building together

  • The workshop is designed for Educators, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, Art Therapists, Counsellors, Therapy Assistants and Education Support Staff working in schools, clinics or community.

  • The One-Day Clinicians Workshop provides the theory, framework, concepts and case studies to support clinicians to share Social Stencil with the young people they support.

  • When: 25 February 2026

    Time: 9.30am - 3.30pm

    Where: Wharf Shed, 15 Eastern Beach Road, Geelong.

    What about food? This is a catered event.

    What do I bring? Everything is provided. You just need to enjoy the learning of the day.

  • The One-Day Facilitator Workshop is $560 for an individual ticket. That includes:

    • The one-day in person training presented by Program Author and Psychologist Dr Connie Buckingham (PhD)

    • Catered Morning Tea and Lunch

    • Annual Licence to the Social Stencil Original Portal and 1:1 Portal (RRP: $280 each)

    • x4 extension webinars annually

    • Group discount of 4 or more can access a 10% discount.

  • Yes, but renewal is offered at a discounted rate.

    The Social Stencil Portal Collection includes an ever growing number of lesson plans, resources, and training via extension webinars.

    The program author Dr Connie Buckingham is a Psychologist, Research Supervisor and Sessional Lecturer with the University of Melbourne, constantly updating and expanding the program as new research comes to light.


    The Social Stencil annual licence ensures that you always have access to the most up-to-date research and resources to deliver an effective, safe, informed Social Stencil program.

Workshop Sneak Peak…

In July 2025 Illustrator Sarah Firth (viewed here in video) attended a Social Stencil Facilitator Workshop to capture the learnings of the day, and create a graphic image to visually communicate the Social Stencil themes.
