The directory of schools and organisations has been temporarily removed.

Social Stencil is grounded in research, lived experience, and co-design. It exists to support a community that has otherwise experienced decades of harm from educational and clinical approaches that weren’t designed with them in mind. For this reason, careful program development, and comprehensive facilitator training is critical to safeguard trust and confidence from the families and children that experience the program.

When these are not followed, delivery risks being unsafe or misaligned with the program’s intent.

As a result, I am strengthening Social Stencil training processes moving forward.

This includes:

• discontinuing anonymous immediate purchase of the Social Stencil portal via credit card

• clearer training expectations and requirements

• initial mandatory on-line virtual training in neurodiversity affirming practice, prior to program access

• approval processes for any public advertising or representation

• inclusion in the online directory once facilitators have demonstrated training competencies

These changes are about accountability and care.

Social Stencil will always prioritise safe, respectful, and well-informed practice.
